I am a senior lecturer in the School of Psychology at Aberdeen University. I run the Face Research Lab with Lisa DeBruine and am a graduate of The Perception Lab in St Andrews.

  • 04 June 2008 » The lab went to Kyoto, Japan for the annual conference of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society and presented a total of 8 pieces of research. We also saw some snow monkeys.
  • 08 November 2007 » Our paper, “Evidence for adaptive design in human gaze preference”, has been published in Proceedings of the Royal Society of London, B. It has received much publicity, notably from the BBC and New Scientist. [more»]
